Bent pin
Bending one end of a pin is a simple way of retaining the pin in a hinge, but it is not very secure.
The hinge pin will stay in place if the hinge is in the vertical position, but is easily removed by pulling up on the pin.
It has limited uses for horizontal applications as it can tend to work its way loose.
