Hinges and Hardware 101 - Dimensioning a Clipped Corner

Needing help dimensioning a clipped corner on your hinge?  Look no further!  It's as simple as just a dimension and an angle for the triangle of metal you will be removing from the hinge leaf.  Check out the edited picture here.  One dimension would be how far from the edge you want to start the corner of the triangle, and then at what angle the triangle would be.  It's that easy.  For more information on this, and other custom hinge operations, check out our handy Custom Hinge Design Form here.
