Gas springs provide a controlled opening force, making them ideal for lids that need help swinging up. Guden offers gas springs in many sizes and forces, with chrome rods, black nitrate rods and stainless steel, each giving a higher level of corrosion resistance. We also offer SafeLock Gas Springs, allowing safe locking and unlocking in the open position.

When a heavy lid or door must be lowered or swung at a constant speed, choose a damper. Guden dampers come in different sizes, strokes and three levels of damping. Custom dampers are also available.
