Listed below are the gas springs we currently consider stock parts which have the ability to stop and stay at any position throughout the stroke. Each gas spring has a friction mechanism built around the rod that can be tightened to achieve multipositioning of the lid or door. These springs have a black nitrate treated rod and a black epoxy painted tube and are usually in stock for immediate shipment. Since this is a Continuous Hinge, you may optionally specify
a cutoff length for the CAD model. This length will be rounded
up to the next multiple of the knuckle length.
