Hinges to A-A-55500 series military specification in stainless steel (C). Supplied from stock with a passivated finish. For your convenience, we also supply our own version of this hinge in an unpassivated form. Most situations call for the stock length to be cut to a smaller size, and it will require a passivate after cutting, so a prefinished part is not needed, and its certainly less expensive to purchase the hinge without a finish before secondary work is done to it. If your requirement calls for designations (B), (DF), or (E), please contact our customer service department. Effective 10/31/94, all MS35821 through MS35831 series continuous hinges were superceded by A-A-55589 through A-A-55596. We currently stock most of the A-A-55500 series parts, and due to customer request we still carry stock on some of the MS35000 series, or can quickly special run them.
